r/AfroOptimist is a subreddit with 2k members. The most common kinds of discussions are solution requests and advice requests, and the community frequently discusses africa, nigeria, african, women, and south africa.
So often all the news that comes out of Africa is bleak and dreary. This sub's aim is to contain only and (hopefully) all positive news from the different countries in Africa. Not just the big news, however small, but as long as it's in Africa and it's good, it is welcomed here!
