Music Therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program and passed the board-certification. Music Therapists will have the credential "MT-BC." The credential of MT-BC is obtained by successful completion of an academic and clinical training program for music therapy.
