Game Gear was Sega's entry into the handheld market. Nintendo's Game Boy was dominating the market, but Sega entered with a portable, color, and backlit version of it's 8-bit home console, MasterSystem. : "My first Lcd screen mod was a success. The only issue I had is the clock red wire I snapped from the connector (see last pic). The rest was straightforward. I really like it. The whole screen kit is from Aliexpress and costs around 45 usd, it comes with a glass lens too."
