"Pretty chill but love hikes and walks. They don't shed, which comes in handy in a camper/trailer. We live full time in a camper with our Standard and he's perfect. The only down with having one is grooming, but we learned to groom our pup ourselves and just keep his fur short and brushed."

"Best hunting dog me and my family ever had was a Britney spaniel, Cal. NOTHING ever got past his nose on all the hunts we had with him. He was only ever used for woodcock and grouse hunting, but there was quite a few times he would find a rabbit while we were hunting. And he had a slight addiction for squirrels.. We never hunted them, but we lived in the city, and had a closed off front yard, there were to many times that a squirrel would get into our little compound and it wasn’t long before Cal got em. Amazing family dog too, never had an aggressive episode to anything other than game."
